I am a freelance designer maker, specialising in textiles designed to merge interior and exterior landscapes, conjure atmosphere and evoke natural cycles.

I take a painterly approach to making marks in two and three dimensions, across fibres and fabric. I utilise print and dye processes to create innovative textiles to create mood and atmosphere.

Current work is an exploration of the patterns created through dye and resist dye processes translated into silk screen print. I am interested in print techniques that work with translucency and opacity, which affect the phototropic senses of an audience. I use fabric manipulation to provide networks of pattern which can be overlaid with shadows of foliage in an attempt to capture the fleeting and ephemeral shadows of leafy environs.
