Print making workshop extraordinaire. The first floor workshop is home to screen beds, relief presses, letterpress and more. There are are artist studios on the floor above where I have rented a studio for about two years.

My 20:20 contribution. A heat transfer printed two colour screen print on polyester chiffon, on a screen printed cartridge paper backing. 1/25 edition. As a textile printer I am new to the idea of editions. The fabric layer is derived from 'dysperse' dye, mixed into a print paste and screen printed onto paper. The paper print is transferred onto the fabric in a heat press.

Here is my 20:20 print for 2013. This is still inspired from the same body of drawing as my 2012 entry, and still experimenting with the idea of an edition as a textile artist. The drawings were done on a hillside above Hayfield in the Peak District and inspired lots of mark making in order to get the layers for this print. It is two layers of textile screen print, hemmed top & bottom.
